I'm going to be doing a side by side upgrade (9.0 SP3 to 9.5). I'm making a copy of the 9.0 database and will be upgrading the copy during the 9.5 install. Will all the items in the 9.0 database, in other words all the groups, queries, scheduled tasks, packages, images, etc., be "migrated" into the 9.5 server? Or will there be some things that we will need to re-create? I wanted to add that obviously the objective is to create the new 9.5 server with identical infrastructure as the 9.0 server, and leave the 9.0 server intact including the 9.0 database. The 9.0 server will still be the production core server until everything has been tested, 9.0 devices brought over running 9.5 agent, etc.
We've been running 9.0 for a while now and trying to retrace our steps in this whole process so we can do a successful move to 9.5. I'd appreciate your input. Thank You!
